![]() ![]() I tab back into object mode and right-click and choose “shade smooth” I add a solidify modifier and change the thickness to 0.04 and move the solidify modifier above the subdivision modifier I tab back into edit mode and add loop cuts to the extrusions to make them more square looking I also open the object data properties tab and under the normals section, I check “auto smooth” I add a subdivision surface modifier with a level of 2 I then repeat this process for the last extrusionīack in object mode, I combine all the parts of the logo with CTRL + J ![]() I then duplicate and rotate the first shape and place the duplicate onto the next extrusion Using the vertex select, I shape the plane into the proper outline for the logo I select the outer circle and the plane and tab into edit mode I then scale and rotate the plane to match one of the extrusions from the circle I add a plane and rotate it around the X-Axis 90 degrees I tab into object mode and using CTRL + A, I apply the location, rotation, and scale I tab into edit mode and inset the outer circle until it reaches the white center circle of the logo I duplicate the circle and move and scale it to the correct size and location for the outer part of the logo I tab back into object mode and using CTRL + A, I apply the location, rotation, and scale I tab into edit mode and add a face using the F-key ![]() I then scale and move the circle to the correct size and area of the logo I rotate the circle around the X-Axis 90 degrees I start by adding a circle to make the center part of the logo I rotate the image around the Z-Axis -90 degrees so it is facing forward I choose the Material Preview for the shading so I can see the image If you don’t see this option, you may need to activate it under your preferences I import the Blender logo using File > Import > Images as Planes The first thing I did was create the three parts of the logo In this Blender tutorial for beginners, I will show you how I made a rotating logo reveal in Blender 2.91 ![]()
